Comfort, Just Steps from Care
When stepping away from the bedside feels impossible, the Ronald McDonald House Family Room offers a place to pause, rest and recharge.
Located in the Glick Center on the 4th Floor, the Family Room provides a welcoming space for families with a child receiving care at MetroHealth Medical Center.
Monday – Friday: 9 am – 5 pm
Hours are subject to change.
Families are asked to register once per month at the Family Room volunteer desk.
Every detail is designed to give families a moment of relief close to their child’s hospital room.
When families cannot leave the bedside, we bring comfort to them.
The Happy Wheels Hospitality Cart provides light refreshments and small comforts to patients and caregivers in pediatric units throughout the hospital.
The Family Room and Happy Wheels program are made possible by dedicated volunteers.
